MDC is located North-West Suez Golf and obsess over 20 KM 2, surrounded by the main roads and ports (sokhna port and adabyia port) in SCZone.

- In 2002, The Government of Egypt enacted Law No. 83 to announce the formation of the special economic zone north east gulf of Suez with a total area 20 square km with special (Tax and customs) incentives and benefits to boost the investment climate in Egypt.

- In 2015 Law No 27 was enacted to announce the expansion of the economic zone to be 460 square km located in 3 main cities (Sokhna, Ismalia and Port Said) in addition to 6 strategic ports (Sokhna – adabeya – east and west port said – Arish and tor ports).

- In 2017 the new investments law No. 72 was enacted which added more tax incentives for the Sczone as it was categorized as part of the regions targeted with development.

- MDC area is surrounded by the most important main roads in sokhna zone. Suez zaafarana road allocated in the east, the old Cairo sokhna road northern MDC area and the new Cairo sokhna road in the south of MDC.
